​Top-Notch Garage Doors, LLC.'s Warranty Agreement

​

At Top-Notch Garage Doors LLC, we are committed to delivering exceptional service and high-quality materials for all your garage door needs. Our goal is to ensure that your garage door is repaired correctly on the first attempt, and we stand behind our quality workmanship with a comprehensive warranty.

 

What We Cover | We provide parts and hardware from the industry's leading brands. Our default two-year warranty runs concurrently with any manufacturer's warranty you may have. This two-year warranty indicates that you are a valued customer and allows us to store your warranty information in our records. This enables us to make claims on your behalf, place orders for your required garage door part, and give you peace of mind during the diagnosis process.

Additionally, we offer a service at a fraction of the normal cost by capping labor fees at no more than $99. For the first 90 days from your original service date, TNGD provides a guarantee that covers both parts and labor. After the initial 90 days, all warranty claims may incur a labor charge of no more than $99.

 

Warranty Details

Standard Warranty:

We provide a robust 2-year warranty on our products, which includes coverage for openers, remotes, cables, springs, rollers, tracks, pulleys, brackets, and other electronic components sold by Top-Notch Garage Doors LLC. Additionally, we cover labor for 90 days from the date of service. Warranty service does not reset with each claim made. The original date of service or installation will always be the reference date and cannot be reset until the original terms and warranty duration have expired.

 

Repair Warranty:

All hardware parts provided by Top-Notch Garage Doors LLC come with a 2-year warranty, and labor is covered for the first 90 days following the original service date. For repairs and overhauls to existing garage doors, our warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship, including installation, for new and rebuilt parts furnished by Top-Notch Garage Doors LLC as part of the repair. This warranty is also subject to the terms specified on the front page of the invoice.

TNGD will exercise discretion regarding all parts not listed in our system or invoices, as some parts may be exclusive, rare, or less common. TNGD reserves the right to establish warranty terms on-site when certain circumstances apply.

New Doors & Motor Warranty:

As an authorized dealer, we're proud to honor the manufacturer's warranty for all the new door and opener brands we offer. All claims are subject to no more than $99 labor fee when serviced by TNGD.​ Our default two-year warranty runs concurrently with any manufacturer's warranty you may have. This two-year warranty indicates that you are a valued customer and allows us to store your warranty information in our records. This enables us to make claims on your behalf, place orders for your required garage door part, and give you peace of mind during the diagnosis process. 

Additionally, we offer service at a fraction of the normal cost by capping labor fees at no more than $99. For the first year (12 months) from your original service date, TNGD provides a guarantee that covers both parts and labor. After the first year, all warranty claims may incur a labor charge of no more than $99.

Additional Warranty Options:

  • Premium Pricing: We offer other warranty pricing options at premium rates, providing extended coverage and additional benefits.

  • Company Discretion: All available warranty options are subject to the company's final approval to sell, honor, or adhere based on the company's discretion.

Junk Removal Policy:

While we do not offer warranty services for junk removal, hauling, moving, transportation, or relocation of items associated with our junk removal services at the time of booking, we understand that unexpected issues may arise. In select situations, Top-Notch Garage Doors LLC. may provide a courtesy reimbursement for minor incidental costs related to these services, up to $150 per occurrence, based on our discretion.

Screen Door Warranty:

TDNG honors the warranty of all ASW and Lifestyle Door products and services. The labor warranty is for 90 days. New screen doors/ windows come a limited lifetime warranty, covering all tracks, frame, and hardware. This warranty excludes the mesh screen itself. The mesh screen is not covered under any warranty and will be subject to the owner's responsibility upon completion of the job.  

 

What's Not Covered?

Our warranty does not cover any materials or workmanship provided by unauthorized personnel. It does not cover consequential or incidental damages, abuse, misuse, civil disturbance, Acts of God, or commercial door installation or repair. Problems caused by displaced, misaligned, or disconnected door cables are also not covered.

 

How Long Does Coverage Last?

The warranty period begins upon completion of repairs or installations and ends after a specified period (generally two years). For all repairs and parts, the warranty remains valid for the duration of the terms, as long as the original customer owns the repaired garage door. However, it terminates upon sale or transfer of ownership. For all new garage door, opener installations, and complete overhaul services, the labor warranty is for the term indicated on the front page of the invoice from the date of service. These kinds of services are transferable with the property address.

 

State Law and Terms

This warranty adheres to the standard practices of NC state law. Your invoice serves as your receipt and must be presented for warranty work. Top-Notch Garage Doors LLC is not responsible for providing proof of warranty.

​Top-Notch Garage Doors, LLC.'s Work Order Agreement

​

This Work Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between Top-Notch Garage Doors LLC. (TNGD) ("Company") and the Customer to whom signs this agreement.

 

1. Scope of Work: The Company agrees to perform garage door installation, repair, maintenance, and related services ("Services") as requested by the Customer. The specific details of the Services, including pricing and timelines, will be outlined in a separate written estimate or contract.

 

2. Service Expectations: The Company will strive to perform the services with professionalism, skill, and efficiency. The Customer can expect timely communication, adherence to agreed-upon schedules, and high-quality workmanship.

 

3. Payment Terms: TNGD does not offer refunds; all sales are final. Payment for services rendered is due upon completion of the work, unless a different agreement is made in writing. The Customer agrees to pay all fees and expenses related to the services, as detailed in the estimate and/or invoice. Unless specified otherwise, all balances are due immediately after the service has been completed. Unpaid balances may incur a $30 late fee every 5 calendar days starting 48 hours after the original service date.

4. Warranty: The Company warrants that all Services provided will be free from defects in workmanship for a period specified in the warranty policy. Any warranty claims must be submitted in writing within the specified timeframe.

 

5. Customer Responsibility for Property: The Customer agrees to provide clear, safe, and unobstructed access to the designated work area and surrounding spaces to allow Top Notch Garage Doors, LLC (TNGD) to perform services efficiently and safely. This includes, but is not limited to, the removal of large or numerous personal items such as tools, machinery, workout equipment, disabled vehicles, or other belongings within at least 10 feet of the workspace. All such items are deemed left in place at the sole discretion of the homeowner, and TNGD is not liable for their safety, condition, or relocation at any point during the service. If personal property or other obstacles block progress or create unsafe working conditions, this may cause delays in completing the work. In such cases, a labor charge may be applied, and/or the service may be rescheduled until all issues have been addressed. Additionally, pets must be secured away from the work area at all times. Driveway access must be available to allow technicians to park and operate tools and materials without obstruction. Additionally, the customer agrees to have a responsible individual over the age of 18 present on-site during the scheduled work, authorized to approve services, make decisions on behalf of the homeowner, and provide payment upon completion.

 

​6. Separate Systems acknowledgment: Garage doors, Lifestyle (LS) screen door products, and garage door operators (motors) are considered separate systems that work together but operate independently. It is possible for a garage door to malfunction while the motor functions properly, or for a motor to fail while the door remains operational. Due to the distinct nature of these systems, all service calls, warranty evaluations, diagnoses, and invoicing will treat the garage door, LSW screen door, and garage door operator as separate matters. Any service performed or quoted will be specific to the identified system and will not automatically include the inspection or repair of the corresponding product unless otherwise specified.

7. Power: It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that there is power available in the garage before TNGD staff arrives. If power cannot be provided, TNGD cannot guarantee the work performed or ensure a solution to the issue. In such cases, TNGD may charge a trip fee if we determine that the situation could have been avoided with proper due diligence.

 

8. Safety: The Company prioritizes the safety of its personnel and the Customer's property. All work will be performed per industry best practices and safety standards.

 

9. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising under this Agreement will be resolved through good faith negotiations between the parties. If a resolution cannot be reached within 30 Days of the date the invoice was created, the parties agree to pursue mediation or arbitration as a means of resolving the dispute.

 

10. Termination: Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time with written notice to the other party. Upon termination, the Customer will be responsible for payment of any Services rendered up to the termination date.

 

11. Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of North Carolina.

 

12. Entire Agreement: This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties concerning the subject matter herein and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.

This policy is part of our official Service Policy

​

1. Scope of Service: Top Notch Garage Doors LLC ("TNGD") offers residential and light commercial pressure washing including driveways, siding, decks, fencing, and more. We may decline unsafe or unsuitable surfaces.

2. Estimates & Pricing: Estimates valid for 30 days. Final pricing may change after inspection. Full payment due at service unless agreed otherwise.

3. Scheduling & Access Requirements Customers must:

- Provide access to work areas- Ensure working outdoor water supply

- Remove obstacles- Secure pets and children

- Close all doors/windows before arrival

- Protect live power sources TNGD is not responsible for water intrusion through worn seals, open windows, or live electrical exposure.

4. Customer Preparation Responsibility: Customers must complete all prep as instructed. TNGD is not liable for damage due to non-compliance with instructions or faulty seals.

5. Weather Policy: Services may be rescheduled for inclement weather.

6. Surface Acknowledgement & Liability Waiver: TNGD is not liable for pre-existing or surface defects. Cleaning involves risks, and fragile materials may suffer damage.

7. Chemical Use & Environmental Care: We use eco-friendly cleaners. TNGD is not responsible for incidental damage to plants or property near treated areas.

8. Right to Refuse or Stop Work: We reserve the right to stop work if unsafe conditions, exposed wiring, or aggressive animals are present.

9. Damage Claims & Satisfaction: Report concerns within 48 hours. Claims must be made within 5 business days with photos.

10. Marketing & Photography: TNGD may document work for marketing. Clients may opt out in writing.

11. Cancellations & Refunds: Cancel 48 hours in advance to avoid a $50 fee. Refunds processed in 7 business days. Late cancellations may incur fees.

12. Limited Service Warranty: 7-day workmanship guarantee excludes regrowth, weathering, or issues from poor surface conditions.

13. Governing Law: Governed by North Carolina law. Venue: Alamance County.

14. Acceptance of Terms: By scheduling service or signing an agreement, client agrees to all terms and prep responsibilities.
